p>Last 6 months so far have been absolutely crazy... I've stopped freelancing, I've picked up a new job as Head of Web Development for a company called Webmanage in Surry Hills, and I've embarked on a rather fun journey with a good friend Toby Hewitt - a facebook application!As well as learning several new technologies (Google App Engine, Java, Python), I've also been learning how to manage people, and myself - with the most progress being made in the last 3-4 weeks. As well as this, I've also been hitting the gym 3-4x per week, and my diet is better than it's ever been, with every day consisting of (usually) 2 items of fruit, plenty of salad and vegetables, and a serving of meat (usually chicken or steak).
The result is that I feel as though I'm living on my edge, peering over the abyss of knowledge into the unknown, constantly challenged and always fresh. The next year is really going to be something.
